Job Description What you will do This position is responsible to design Fire & security systems like Fire Alarm, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and CCTV per respective account standards. How You Will Do It Should have strong domain knowledge of Fire & Security System engineering. Should have global customer facing experience. Works independently & is fully proficient in applying established standards/practices. Should act as interface to customers and is responsible to ensure that projects are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer technical specification requirements. Should be able to independently carry out Hardware Detail Design, Engineering and Application Development, Battery Calculations, Voltage drops calculations etc. Should be able to develop Typical / Templates for Complex systems and develop project specific standards. Should be able to read, Understand Control Narratives, Logic diagrams, Io Matrix etc. Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan, ensures effective change control, and identifies risks / opportunities. Ensures that the proposed engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation. Ensure group work in compliance with QMS procedures. Identify possible improvement opportunities and manage their implementation. Ensure common methods, techniques, tools, and products are being effectively applied and provide feedback for future improvement. Ensures that the implementation of application is reviewed with respect to project standards and quality documents. Ensures that the final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the customer by doing the quality checks. Usage of engineering tools for optimization of Engineering man hours to improve productivity & Quality. What We Look For Diploma/BE (Electrical/ Electronics). 3-8 years experience in Fire & security system design is mandatory. Fire code & security domain knowledge mandatory. NICET/ BS 5839 & Security system product Certifications will be added advantage. Good knowledge of AutoCAD. Good communication skills.
