In this role, you will help shape robust design solutions for components connected to ECUs and inverters, working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Job Description You will develop efficient design solutions together with cross-functional teams, aligned with design specifications and technical standards. You will engineer systems and components with a focus on detail design, electrical interfaces, and integration in the surrounding environment. You will define requirements for interconnected systems and components to secure functionality and design quality. You will verify solutions, recommend design adjustments, and balance factors such as technology, cost efficiency, quality, production feasibility, serviceability, environmental impact, and market needs. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to solve cross-functional design needs. You will contribute to technology strategy, analysis, and verification work while helping build technical knowledge in the team. You will support template generation procedures and drive work related to geometry assurance and fulfillment of technical requirements. Requirements M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. At least 5 years of experience in Catia Design. Proven experience working with ECUs and/or Inverters. Fluency in English and Swedish, spoken and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one.
