Are you an electronics engineer ready for new challenges? Do you want to contribute to creating a smarter and safer world? We're currently looking for both newly graduated and experienced engineers to join our product development team at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden. Your future team We're a team of 15 electronics engineers who values teamwork and each other. Our team have a wide range of experience and seniority and are now looking for more colleagues to join us! We work with many different areas of focus within electronics and together we develop Axis PTZ cameras, which means we're involved in both mechatronics and electronic design. What you'll do here as an electronics engineer As an electronics engineer at Axis, you have an active and important role in the organization and a strong influence on our continued success. You're involved in all stages of development - from idea to finished product. The electronic development is characterized by innovative thinking and aims to strengthen and expand our current product portfolio while studying new technologies focused on future innovations. We work project-oriented with many interfaces. You'll work closely with other disciplines within the project, such as software, image, mechanics, purchasing, requirements, and suppliers. In this role, you have significant influence, and your input is highly valued. We strive to highlight our employees' different areas of expertise to find the best synergy in our organization. It's essential for us to stay ahead and pave the way for advanced and innovative technological development. To promote innovation, you'll work with great freedom, and we trust you, your choice of approach to tasks, and your abilities. If you have ideas for your own projects related to your tasks, we encourage that. The variety of projects is vast and varied, and the technical challenges are numerous! Who are you? That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
