We are seeking a reliable and professional Facilities Operative to join our team within a busy residential accommodation property in Dublin. This is a varied, front-line role focused on supporting the safe, secure, and effective day-to-day operation of the property and providing a professional service to residents. Key Duties • Carry out regular building, security, and safety checks. • Monitor communal areas and report any concerns or issues. • Deal professionally and respectfully with residents, visitors, and contractors. • Complete daily reports, checklists, visitor logs, and shift handovers accurately. • Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties as required. • Monitor access to the property and ensure visitor procedures are followed. • Respond appropriately to incidents and escalate concerns to management. • Assist with emergency and evacuation procedures when required. • Support management with the general day-to-day operation of the property. Requirements • Previous experience in facilities, security, hospitality, accommodation, or a similar customer-facing role is desirable. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Professional and confident when dealing with a diverse range of people. • Reliable, observant, and able to follow procedures consistently. • Good written skills and ability to complete reports and records accurately. • Ability to work effectively as part of a shift-based team. • Flexibility to work across different shifts as required.
