Sales Development Representative – Dutch Market (m/w/d) EU GTM | Cologne, Germany About the team SumUp is one of the fastest-growing fintechs in Europe — and our SDR team in Cologne is at the heart of that growth. We're looking for a Dutch-speaking SDR to help us grow our presence in the Dutch market . You'll be the first voice business owners hear from SumUp, starting conversations, understanding their needs and creating real opportunities for our sales team. No rigid cold-calling scripts. What you'll do Reach out to business owners in the Netherlands through outbound calls, emails and other channels Start conversations, understand how businesses currently manage their payments and identify where SumUp can help Qualify prospects and book high-quality appointments for our sales team Hand over opportunities with clear, well-documented notes so the sales team has everything they need Keep your CRM accurate and up to date across activity, pipeline and progress Work towards — and ideally beat — your weekly and monthly activity and appointment targets Share what's working with the wider team and learn from other SDRs Develop your sales skills through regular coaching, call reviews and team sessions You'll be great for this role if… You speak Dutch fluently or at native level You have a good working level of English for communication with our international team You're a confident communicator and comfortable speaking with new people every day You don't mind picking up the phone — outbound sales is a big part of the role You're target-driven and take ownership of your own performance You're organised, consistent and understand that good sales results come from doing the basics well every day You're coachable, open to feedback and genuinely interested in improving You enjoy working in a fast-moving, international environment Previous sales experience is useful, but attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn matter just as much Why you should join SumUp Competitive base salary + uncapped commission — the better you perform, the more you can earn.
