Salary Range: PLN Range: 260,400 - 352,200 Subject to alignment to the responsibilities and duties of the role About the job Make PyTorch work brilliantly on hardware built for the next era of machine intelligence. As a Senior Software Engineer in our PyTorch team, you will help Graphcore hardware feel natural to ML engineers and researchers. You will design, optimise and support the software that connects our accelerators with widely used frameworks. Your work will shape upstream PyTorch contributions, custom kernels and compiler backend integration with torch.compile. The goal is simple: better compatibility, stronger performance and an easier developer experience. You will work across Python, C++ and complex open source codebases. You will also help coordinate technical tasks, review code and improve how the team builds. This is a role for engineers who want deep ownership and real technical stretch. You will grow expertise in PyTorch while influencing systems used by ambitious ML teams. The team and culture You will join the PyTorch team within Frameworks, working in a SCRUM team that ships features, fixes issues and improves performance. Work happens through open discussion, code review and close contact with software, AI/ML, research and hardware teams. Engineers are trusted to take responsibility for complex, open-ended tasks. Decisions are shaped by technical evidence, user impact and healthy challenge. The team values clarity, learning and practical progress. You will mentor others, speak up when quality matters and help improve how the team works. What we’re looking for · Strong software engineering skills across complex systems. · Experience building in Python and performant C++ in a commercial setting. · Confidence with linear algebra and floating-point arithmetic. · Strong git skills, including code review in a commercial engineering team. · Ability to investigate unfamiliar, large or open source codebases and write clear technical documentation. · Experience in at least one of ML kernels, compiler development, ML frameworks or computationally intensive engineering. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
