Position Overview We are seeking an Associate Electrical Test Engineer to support the development, execution, and documentation of product testing activities that ensure quality, performance, and compliance with internal and industry standards. This role collaborates closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into effective test plans and procedures, execute tests, and report findings. A strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with product design teams and lead engineers to define testing requirements for electrical and electromechanical systems Develop, document, and refine test plans, test procedures, and test processes Execute test procedures in accordance with approved documentation Analyze test results and prepare clear, accurate test reports for engineering leadership Support continuous improvement of test processes, including evaluating opportunities for test automation Train and support technical staff on test procedures, equipment, and best practices as needed Ensure testing activities align with internal quality expectations and relevant industry standards Serve as a subject-matter resource on test equipment, methods, and best practices for engineering teams Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field OR Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering with equivalent hands-on experience Experience A minimum of 0–2 years of relevant experience in testing, engineering, laboratory, or related technical environments Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a research, development, or test laboratory environment Exposure to test automation concepts or implementation Familiarity with general-purpose electronic test equipment (e.g., power supplies, digital multimeters, source meters) Experience supporting quality control, inspection, or testing of complex electronic systems Familiarity with energy systems, environmental testing, or vibration testing equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Soft Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail to ensure test accuracy and documentation quality Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment Innovative and analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving Technology Stack Laboratory and engineering software (e.g., data acquisition, modeling, or simulation tools) Test automation or scripting tools (as applicable) Standard office productivity tools (e.g., documentation and reporting applications) Physical Requirements Ability to work in a standard office and laboratory environment Ability to use a computer and test equipment for extended periods Ability to safely handle laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures This job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
