Section/Production Manager Manufacturing Gqeberha Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualification 5+ years' work experience in a manufacturing environment and 2+ years on managerial level Overview of position Reporting to the Production Manager and leading X3 Shift Supervisors. Design and implement efficient production systems, methods and workflows. Monitor productivity, output and man-hour performance; investigate variances and implement corrective actions. Develop improvement plans with Production, Engineering and Service teams to optimise processes, machinery and productivity. Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production Control and MMIS to meet operational targets. Ensure parts availability, timely maintenance completion and optimal machine performance. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and risk controls. Identify, monitor and report departmental risks and discrepancies. Maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and resolve operational issues. Represent the department in stakeholder meetings and report relevant matters to management. Manage employee performance, appraisals, development, training and employee relations. Assist with budgeting and prepare cost reports. Monitor expenditure against budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimisation. Salary Bracket R450 000 to R575 000 per annum CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package Desired Skills: production management manufacturing
