As a Front-End Developer (Expert), you’ll be one of the technical heavyweights in the team. You’ll work across front-end, back-end, cloud and DevOps, helping build and enhance systems that keep critical supply-chain and production processes running smoothly. You’ll tackle complex technical challenges, guide other developers, improve system quality and help shape solutions that are scalable, reliable and user-friendly. You’ll be involved in: Building exciting new front-end functionality using modern web technologies. Developing and enhancing back-end functionality using Java and/or Python. Creating and maintaining APIs that connect front-end and back-end systems. Building automated tests and continuously improving test coverage. Maintaining and enhancing existing solutions. Supporting deployments, releases and technical rollouts. Performing error analysis and troubleshooting during testing and production cycles. Working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions. Working with Docker and Kubernetes. Building and improving CI/CD pipelines and automation. Working with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps technologies. Supporting monitoring, logging and operational stability. Participating in functional and technical refinement. Collaborating with developers and technical teams across different locations. Tackling complex problems where there isn't always an easy answer. Performing quality checks across development teams and ensuring high engineering standards. RequirementsFront-End You should also have 3+ years' experience with testing frameworks such as: Selenium Cypress Playwright Back-End We need someone who isn't afraid to venture beyond the front end. You should have 3+ years' experience developing with: Java / JavaEE and/or Python 3.9+ And at least 1 year's experience with frameworks such as: Spring Spring Boot Quarkus Flask Django Plus experience with automated testing from unit testing through to E2E testing. DevOps & Cloud You don't need to be a full-time DevOps engineer, but you definitely need to speak the language. Experience should include: Docker Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines Pipeline automation Infrastructure as Code GitOps Microsoft Azure Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Flux and Helm will be highly valuable. You should also understand monitoring and logging and have experience working with ITIL operational processes, including: Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Bonus Points If You Bring These aren't deal-breakers, but they'll definitely make us smile: Kafka or other streaming technologies Microservices development and maintenance Agile / Scrum experience SAP ECC or S/4 experience Strong automated testing practices Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar qualification. 6+ years' Front-End Development experience. 3+ years' Back-End Development experience. 3 years' Public Cloud experience, preferably Azure.
