DUTIES: Ensure seamless client support by meeting or exceeding service-level objectives. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing. Lead development initiatives related to: New client requirements System enhancements and process automation Innovation requests Scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training initiatives to address them. Conduct regular assessments of DevOps processes, implementing improvements where necessary. Deliver structured monthly reports covering team performance, client concerns, and project progress. Ensure adherence to best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure automation. Build solutions and solve problems for clients. REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 / Matric Certification. 4+ Years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management. 3 - 5 Years of hands-on experience with Linux Server, Windows Server, and Networking. 3 - 5 years of experience in Software Development and Scripting. 1 - 2 Years of experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Docker, and infrastructure automation. Proficiency in scripting and development: NodeJS, Perl, Bash, Python, PHP. Version Control and collaboration: Git, Jira. Configuration management and deployment: Ansible, Terraform. Strong networking knowledge: Cisco (CCNA), MikroTik, Networking+. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API development (REST, JSON, XML, YAML). Valid Code B driver’s license with own transport. Desirable – Certifications in Linux (RHCE), Windows (MCSE), Security+, or VMware. Experience in Frontend technologies: VueJS, HTML, CSS. Knowledge of Open-Source technologies and Container Orchestration. ATTRIBUTES: High degree of aptitude in the IT environment. Entrepreneurial initiative (self-starter).
