This opportunity in Rustenburg, North West is suited to a qualified Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional care to critically ill and premature newborns while working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialised nursing care to neonates requiring intensive care. Monitor and assess neonatal patients, responding promptly to changes in their condition. Administer medication and specialised treatments in accordance with clinical protocols. Operate and monitor neonatal equipment, including incubators, ventilators, and monitoring devices. Support and educate parents throughout their baby's hospital journey. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and infection prevention standards. Work collaboratively with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Minimum Requirements: Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Post Basic qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing. Minimum of 2 years' experience within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Demonstrated clinical competence and technical skills within a NICU environment. Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges, and role players will be advantageous.
