Implement and maintain security controls across networks, systems, and cloud environments. Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts. Manage security tools and technologies, including SIEM and endpoint protection solutions. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across all projects. Experience, Skills & Ideal Candidate Experience 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. Experience working with security monitoring, incident response, and risk management processes. Exposure to cloud security environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Technical Skills Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions. Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk. Understanding of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls). Familiarity with vulnerability management and penetration testing principles. Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, SC-200, or similar would be advantageous. Ideal Candidate Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and security-minded. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
