Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within an enterprise data environment. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise data platforms. Build and maintain Azure landing zones, networking, identity, and core cloud services. Implement and optimise Azure Databricks environments for data engineering workloads. Support cloud security, governance, and cost optimisation initiatives. Collaborate with Platform Engineers to ensure reliable cloud deployments. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and improve platform availability. Contribute to cloud architecture, automation, and operational best practices. Produce technical documentation and support operational excellence. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years' experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services. Proven experience administering Azure Databricks environments. Experience with cloud networking, security, storage, and identity management. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation tools. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Advantageous Microsoft Azure certifications. Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Knowledge of enterprise data platforms and analytics environments. Experience within large-scale enterprise or consulting environments.
