Truck & LDV Workshop Manager - Logistics (KZN) Area: Pinetown Salary Package: R50000 CTC negotiable Overview: The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing the full operation ensuring efficient service delivery, high-quality workmanship, and strong team performance. The role also involves strict administrative control, accurate reporting, and adherence to company procedures, alongside managing budgets, assets, and warranty processes. Responsibilities: Workshop Operations, Capacity Planning and Work in Progress Workshop Administration Staff Management Asset Management Financials and Budgets Quality Management and Maintaining Standards Safety Management and Compliance Maintaining and Managing Service Level Agreements Maintain detailed maintenance records and service logs Manage Apprentice Programmes Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Trade tested Diesel Mechanic Minimum 7 years' supervisory and management experience in logistics workshop Technical expertise pertaining to the knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics and OEM service standards. Knowledge of: Hydraulic systems, Diesel engines, Trucks, Auto Electrical & Workshop Financial Management processes. Operational expertise pertaining to WIP management, capacity planning and workshop operations. Valid driver's license (Code 10/14 advantageous). Good communication skills, innovative thinking, strong conceptual and analytical abilities. Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail.
