The Lead Transportation Assistant serves within Health Administration Service (HAS) and provides lead support to Transportation Assistant staff within the Beneficiary Travel Program. The incumbent distributes and monitors workload, provides guidance and training, determines eligibility for travel benefits, coordinates transportation services, processes reimbursement claims, and provides timely program support to Veterans and eligible beneficiaries.
