The Accounting Technician position is part of the Finance Service. The duties are performed for the G.V.(Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center providing medical center accounting and/or VISN accounting support responsibilities. The position is responsible for conducting accounting and financial analysis of financial data received and compiled at the health care system, including outlying outpatient clinics, Veteran's centers, and the VISN 16 office.
