This position is located within a Forest Service Southern Research Station. The incumbent serves as an Assistant Director for Research (ADR) for the Station, and is responsible for science quality assurance and relevance, policy formulation, advice and leadership in responding to complex issues regarding the development of scientific research programs of the Research Station.
