Smiths Mechanical & Tyres is currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Mandurah WA . The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess: - Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on trucks, truck trailers and other heavy vehicles - Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles - Do routine maintenance as per maintenance schedules, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on trucks, truck trailers and other heavy vehicles - Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Trucks, truck trailers and other heavy vehicles Skills and Abilities: - Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic - A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
