Bar Conte is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Waiter to join their team in Sydney CBD. Full Job Description Located in Sydney CBD, NSW 2000, Bar Conte – Clarence Street is an Italian restaurant and Negroni Bar offering contemporary Italian dining alongside an extensive selection of cocktails and wines. The restaurant is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Waiter to join their team. Key Responsibilities Providing professional table service and taking food and beverage orders. Providing guests with information about menu items, dishes, wines and beverages. Serving food and beverages while maintaining professional service standards. Preparing tables for service and clearing tables throughout service. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area. Liaising with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Processing customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Monitoring guest satisfaction and responding professionally to customer enquiries and service-related concerns. Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service throughout each shift. Complying with food safety, hygiene, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and workplace health and safety requirements. About You At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Trade Waiter or in a similar professional food and beverage service role. Strong knowledge of professional food and beverage service procedures. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to provide attentive and professional table service. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently during busy restaurant service periods. Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and front-of-house team members. Well-presented, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality customer service. Appropriate NSW RSA competency where required for the service of alcohol.
