Two Mixed Practice Veterinarian Positions Available

Full time and Part time Veterinarian's required with immediate start Mixed or Small Animal Only and New Graduate Vets Welcome We are looking for enthusiastic vets to join our friendly mixed animal practice in the quiet town of Parkes in the Central West. Parkes is the home of the Elvis Festival in January, the Parkes Observatory and also the Trundle ABBA Festival in May which is only a short drive away. Parkes is a great town to enjoy a quiet coffee on a weekend morning or a nice beverage on a Friday or Saturday night at one of the local pubs. There is usually some form of an event or activity happening locally or in a surrounding township each weekend. Parkes has most things you would need from a country town with larger towns of Dubbo and Orange being just a short drive away to enjoy more sights and delights of the Central West. Vehicle supplied for all call outs and afterhours Negotiable pay rate ($75,000 to $130,000) commensurate with experience, on call rate as per award and 50% of professional fees. Relocation allowance to cover moving related expenses – we are also an eligible location for the Welcome experience relocation program CPD contributions VetEducation Membership Hospital AVA Membership Mix of small medicine and surgery and general large animal ambulatory services - we also offer equine reproduction, equine dental and cattle pregnancy testing services For new graduates we offer, no sole in charge or after hours until comfortable and with after hours phone assistance, mentoring from experienced veterinarians, nurse buddy system and 30 min consults! What we're looking for: Qualified and registered veterinarian (eligible to practice in NSW) Confident with Routine consults and surgeries Friendly and professional with good communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or part thereof, no Saturday morning opening hours at this stage After hours availability (light on call requirement) Experience with or willingness to do some mixed large animal work Apply now!
