Excavator Operator

About the role We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator looking for consistent work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work across a variety of projects. You will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently while supporting the wider site team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard. Key responsibilities Safely operate excavators across various worksites Carry out excavation, trenching, loading and general earthworks Assist with site preparation and clean-up Follow plans, site instructions and safety procedures Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues Work closely with other operators and site personnel Maintain a clean and safe work area Complete work efficiently and to a high standard Skills and experience To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience operating excavators Experience in civil, construction or earthmoving environments Strong understanding of safe operating procedures Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable work ethic and punctuality Ability to work independently when required Relevant tickets or licences White Card preferred What’s on offer Full-time opportunity Competitive rates based on experience Consistent work Variety of projects across Brisbane Supportive team environment Long-term opportunity for the right candidate Applicants must be living in Australia with easy access to Brisbane QLD.
