Role: Metal Engineering Process Worker ANZSIC CODE 839111 Classification: Manufacturing Award C12 Rate: 55,000 - 65,000 AUD/Year Location: Walgett NSW 2832 Work Schedule: Minimum 38hrs/week Monday- Friday but hours may change for shift work or weekends Full-time ongoing position (6 months or more) Approximate start date - Late October 2026 Open Vacancy: 5 Position Description Positioning and holding tools, equipment and metal products during production processes. Performing basic assembly and dismantling operations, including screwing, bolting and fastening components. Operating power hammers, presses and other metal cutting, shaping and fabrication machinery. Undertaking basic welding tasks as required. Cleaning, preparing and finishing metal surfaces and work areas. Handling and moving materials and components as required. Following workplace procedures, production instructions and safe operating practices. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment. Working cooperatively as part of a team to achieve production targets. Demonstrating a safety-conscious attitude at all times. Participating in training and potential opportunities to develop additional skills. Performing other reasonable ad-hoc production and general labouring duties as required.
