Australian Network Services PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Welder and/or Metal Fabricator for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) across NSW in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team. Title: Welder and/or Metal Fabricator, Full- time position Salary: A$ 90,000.00 to 98,000.00 plus super Work Location: In person. We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following: Requirements • Certificate 3 including 2 years’ experience or Certificate 4 in Engineering-Fabrication Trade/(Welding) • Proven experience as Welder and/or Metal Fabricator for at least 2 years. • Knowledge of welding techniques and materials. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Physical stamina and strength. • Attention to detail and precision. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Excellent problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities • Interpreting blueprints: Understanding detailed plans to guide fabrication. • Cutting and shaping metal: Using tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal pieces. • Welding and joining: Employing different welding techniques to fuse metal parts. • Inspecting and testing: Ensuring the integrity and quality of the fabricated parts. • Diagnosing issues: Identifying problems with metal components. • Performing repairs: Fixing or replacing damaged parts. • Conducting regular maintenance: Keeping equipment in optimal working condition. • Adhering to standards: Following industry and safety standards. • Inspecting finished products: Conducting thorough inspections for defects. • Documenting processes: Keeping records of fabrication and inspection activities. • Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project requirements are met If you would like to discuss the role further, please click APPLY and send through an up-to date CV.
