Green Farm Meat 55 Marion Street Harris Park NSW 2150 Full time Butcher Salary $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation Green Farm Meat (Sydney) is a premium halal butcher and deli with a store located in Harris Park, NSW. We specialise in premium cuts of meat, poultry and small goods for retail customers, and cater to the needs and special requests of restaurants and caterers of halal food. We welcome customer enquiries and orders at our store and provide delivery services for regular orders and online orders: https://greenfarmmeat.au/ Main tasks as Butcher: • Ensure safe operation of equipment such as meat grinder and bandsaw • Cutting, preparation and presentation of produce • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and halal methods • Preparing all the fresh meat cuts to the customer demand with the team • Cut the meat and marinate in different styles • Making the orders of restaurants and caterers as requested • Fulfilling the cut and culinary tastes and demand of Muslim customers largely of sub-continent India, Pakistan and Bangladesh origin • Create a welcoming environment for customers • Be a team player, help supervise and train the team to work with KPI's • Ensure Meat Display Windows are clean and attractive • Use the trim and residue of meat properly to increase the profitability • Track and ensure correct packaging of customer orders for timely pick and/or delivery daily Requirements: - Have a minimum of one years' experience working as a butcher - Be able to provide recommendations to customers on the suitability of certain meat produce - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Fluency in English - Residing in Australia How to apply: Applications open on 10 August 2026 and close on 9 September 2026 Please send your CV to info@businessnest.com.au.
