Job Overview You are a proactive DevOps Engineer with a passion for IT and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset. As a key member of a cross-functional squad, you design, develop, test, and deliver applications, while also supporting maintenance and decommissioning when needed. You work end-to-end in Agile, continuously improving both your skills and your team's. With a full stack understanding, you manage everything from design to deployment and incident resolution, always aligning with business goals to deliver the best solutions. The team You will be part of the Single Payment Engine area within Wholesale Banking Tech, Network and Core Banking. You will collaborate with multiple teams spread across domains in Philippines, Romania, The Netherlands, and more. We follow a Scrum Agile development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to deliver better software faster. We work with the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks, which means that you work in a dynamic environment in which you are continuously learning. If you have bright ideas, they will be valued and supported by both your peers and your management. Key Responsibilities Automate testing, deployment, and rollback processes. Basic Understanding how Azure DevOPS platform works; Run pipelines,maintain adapt when needed. Work within Linux environments (preferably RHEL 8+) for deployment and troubleshooting. Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development. Conduct static and dynamic code analysis and manage vulnerability scans Embed security tools and practices into development workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Manage Observability KPI’s and SLI’s Manage IT risk, vulnerabilities and technical compliance Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis Ensure systems meet regulatory and organizational compliance. Experience in SQL querying for reporting. Be able to perform sql queries for reporting ( eg. transactions processed in a specific period) Work with Windows environments (IIS, .NET, SQL) – Be able to perform EventLogs investigations for Windows,IIS,SQL or other applications installed on server; Capacity Mngmt ( CPU,RAM, disks size, etc) Key Capabilities/Experience Advanced in the following technologies: DevOps operations GIT Azure DevOps and similar platforms Solid understanding of Linux (RHEL 8 or higher) and Windows Ansible Automate provisioning and configuration on cloud and on prem infrastructure SQL and PL/SQL Any Scripting Language (PowerShell, BASH, Python, GOLANG) Any Messaging Platform (MQ, Kafka, WebService) Any Observability tools (Prometheus, Open Telemetry etc.) Understand and apply security integration Openness to continuous learning and adapting to evolving technologies. Essential attributes: Positive attitude Strong analytical skill Open to technology changes Strong sense of ownership Effective collaboration Ability to work in agile environment Knowledge of ITGC Controls and its fundamentals Nice to have: Exposure to Finacle Scripting (IS and CT scripts).(if the candidate is intern) Fundamentals of any Programming Language Experience with an agile way of working. Knowledgeable about core banking services and related financial services Minimum Qualifications At least 2 years of relevant working experience in IT domain, platform and CI/CD framework. A bachelor’s or post-graduate degree. Experience in working in a complex and challenging environment.

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
