RESPONSIBILITIES: · Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share in the construction and industrial segments. · Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, construction companies, and industrial clients. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts. · Manage and support IC dealer partners: o Strategy and sales execution: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth, achieve targets, and increase market share. o Dealer management: Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, building long-term relationships and developing mutually beneficial plans. o Operations and logistics: Oversee operational aspects such as inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and product availability. o Performance monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, targeted end user reach, and execution, to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. o Budget and profit management: Ensure financial objectives, including collections and profit goals, are met for the assigned dealer partners. · Collaborate with internal teams (product management, marketing, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of solutions. · Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to customer needs. · Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies. · Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. · 3+ years of sales experience in industrial or construction markets, preferably with power tools or related products. · Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and communicate product specifications. · Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. · Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. · Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
