Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to help design and deliver key platform capabilities within Visa’s Intelligent Commerce ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable backend services, APIs, and platform components that power merchant integrations and intelligent commerce experiences. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and architects to develop high-quality solutions while contributing hands-on throughout the software development lifecycle. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong software engineering fundamentals, system design experience, and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience. Information for US Applicants For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $131,600.00 to $ 210,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
