Resumen del rol: Buscamos un/a profesional de preventa que actúe como interfaz técnica principal entre TD SYNNEX, nuestros partners y clientes. La posición brinda soporte técnico en etapa pre‑venta, realiza descubrimiento, diseña arquitecturas, ejecuta demos/POC y acelera la adopción de soluciones de datos, analítica e IA/GenAI con buenas prácticas de gobierno de datos. Trabajarás con plataformas y ecosistemas del mercado (p. ej., Data Fabric, Lakehouse, data warehousing, integración/ingesta, MLOps y seguridad), incluyendo, entre otras, tecnologías como IBM Data & AI (watsonx, Db2). Responsabilidades clave: Atender y resolver consultas pre‑venta técnicas y de proceso, escalando cuando corresponda. Realizar discovery técnico, definir requerimientos y traducirlos en diseños y arquitecturas de solución. Preparar y ejecutar demostraciones, pilotos y POC; documentar hallazgos y recomendaciones. Diseñar soluciones “best‑of‑breed” que integren software de datos/IA y servicios de TD SYNNEX. Elaborar estimaciones, TCO/ROI y respuestas a RFI/RFP; contribuir a la estrategia para el cierre. Transferir conocimiento a clientes, partners y equipos internos mediante workshops y enablement. Comunicar conceptos complejos de forma clara para audiencias técnicas y de negocio. Mantenerse actualizado/a mediante formación y certificaciones relevantes. Asegurar prácticas de seguridad y gobierno de datos en todos los entregables. Especificaciones del nivel: Dominio de estándares y técnicas avanzadas en datos, analítica e IA; criterio para abordar problemas complejos. Alta autonomía para definir objetivos técnicos y la mejor vía para alcanzarlos. Capacidad de representación como contacto técnico principal ante clientes y partners. Impacto directo en resultados, tiempos y costos de proyectos y oportunidades. Requisitos y habilidades: Experiencia: 6–9 años con título universitario (o experiencia equivalente) en preventa, arquitectura de datos/IA o consultoría técnica; o 4–7 años con maestría. Formación: Grado en Ingeniería, Computación, Sistemas, Datos/IA o similar (o educación técnica equivalente). Técnicas imprescindibles: Arquitecturas de datos: Data Fabric, Lakehouse, data warehousing, integración ETL/ELT, calidad de datos y catalogación. Plataformas y lenguajes: SQL y al menos un lenguaje de scripting (p. ej., Python); bases de datos relacionales y NoSQL. IA/GenAI: fundamentos de modelos, RAG, evaluación, seguridad y consideraciones éticas; nociones de MLOps. Gobierno y seguridad de datos: metadatos, linaje, control de acceso, cumplimiento y gestión de riesgos. Nube y contenedores: experiencia en una o más nubes (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) y Kubernetes/OpenShift. Integración: APIs/REST y conectividad con fuentes y herramientas del ecosistema. Habilidades consultivas: Descubrimiento, mapeo de requerimientos, storytelling técnico y construcción de business cases. Comunicación escrita y verbal sobresaliente; gestión de múltiples oportunidades en paralelo. Idiomas: Español fluido; inglés profesional para documentación, demostraciones y capacitaciones. Disponibilidad para viajar según requerimientos (hasta 25% aprox.). Certificaciones valoradas (deseables): Certificaciones en plataformas de datos/IA y nube (p. ej., IBM Data & AI – watsonx/Db2, AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake). Certificaciones en gobierno de datos, seguridad o privacidad. Indicadores de éxito (referenciales): Conversión de POC/pilotos a oportunidades cerradas. Satisfacción de clientes y partners (NPS/CSAT). That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
