JOB DESCRIPTION Are you a seasoned project management professional with a passion for broadcast technology and systems integration? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Systems Design Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our cutting-edge broadcast infrastructure and technology projects. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES: As our Senior Systems Design Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our key technology initiatives, including: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for broadcast systems installations, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., control rooms, studios & technical spaces). Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation models. Coordinate and manage internal engineering teams, external vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders. Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and identify/mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, change orders, status reports, and final handover documentation. Possess a working knowledge of modern broadcast technologies (e.g., IP video/SMPTE 2110, cloud-based systems, baseband infrastructure, asset management). WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Experience managing technical projects, specifically focused on broadcast, A/V, or media technology systems integration. PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification. Strong understanding of core broadcast and IT infrastructure concepts (e.g., routing, signal flow, networking, storage). Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Expert proficiency with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, AutoCAD, Jira) and standard office productivity tools. Experience with IP-based broadcast solutions (SMPTE 2110, NDI, etc.). Familiarity with cloud media workflows (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
