ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a visionary Marketing Director, Ad Sales (B2B) dedicated exclusively to our hyper-growth Podcast & Audio Creator portfolio. In this role, you will function as an internal agency leader and strategic powerhouse, responsible for building the RSV B2B brand and fueling our sales pipelines. You will position our network of elite creators as the ultimate advertising destination for Fortune 500 brands and media agencies. By driving market positioning, product marketing for our ad tech, and trade marketing initiatives, you will directly empower our sales executives to capture multi-million dollar ad budgets. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 1. B2B Brand Strategy & Trade Marketing Market Positioning: Define and communicate the unique value proposition of RSV's deeply loyal listener communities, emphasizing the unparalleled trust and brand affinity of independent creator-led audio. Industry Presence: Contribute to RSV's business-to-business marketing footprint at major advertising events, upfronts, and media festivals (e.g., Cannes Lions, Advertising Week, Newfronts). Thought Leadership: Oversee the Ad Sales Marketing story, weaving together industry trend reports, the power of RSV shows and creator-economy insights to establish RSV as the leading voice in podcast distribution and monetization. 2. Product Marketing & Sales Enablement Go-To-Market (GTM) Launches: Build comprehensive marketing toolkits, internal GTM training assets, and external sales collateral for new ad product launches, exclusive talent signings, and programmatic capabilities. Collateral Development: Direct the creation of high-production of all sales and content narratives, general network decks, category-specific pitches (e.g., Automotive, Tech, CPG), and product one-sheets. B2B Case Studies: Partner with Research and Revenue Partnerships teams to write and package performance marketing success stories, proving advertiser ROI across host-read ads and dynamic integrations. 3. Demand Generation & VIP Client Experiences Inbound Pipelines: Design and execute targeted B2B demand generation campaigns via trade publications, email, and digital platforms to engage media planners, buyers, and brand CMOs. Account-Based Marketing: Build tailored marketing concepts for high-value agency partners to proactively unlock incremental advertising spend. Client Experiential Marketing: Help conceptualize and host exclusive B2B creator showcases, networking experiences, and VIP client events to deepen key agency relationships. WHAT YOU WILL NEED Experience: 10+ years in media marketing, sales enablement, or trade marketing, with a heavy emphasis on digital audio, podcast networks, or creator-led digital media. Industry Authority: Deep understanding of the advertising landscape, agency buying structures, media planning cycles, and programmatic audio dynamics. Storytelling Mastery: A proven track record of translating abstract audience data and creator demographics into beautiful, high-converting commercial narratives. Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership experience managing creative outputs and working hand-in-hand with senior sales executives.
