(ADI) is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Reliability Hardware & Systems Development team in San Jose, CA. This role involves creating breakthrough hardware & system solutions to support the wide range of high-impact projects & facilitate the testing of ADI’s innovative new product developments. The successful candidate will engage in a mix of new developments as well as support and maintenance of existing solutions. Key Responsibilities : Design and develop high power burn-in systems and hardware including custom burn-in boards (BIBs) and test fixtures Design reliability stress hardware for HTOL, HAST, HTOB, PTC etc and generate & maintain related documentation Work closely with the product teams and reliability engineers to determine requirements and key tools/equipment necessary to meet the needs of each project Collaborating with systems software engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration as required Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure compliance with the specified requirements Utilize 8D process to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware defects and drive implementation of preventive measures to minimize future recurrence Constantly seek opportunities to apply new methods & techniques to provide high-impact efficiency improvements to existing systems & hardware Engage in professional development opportunities to keep current with technological advances in systems & hardware and apply them to improve the overall capabilities, operational efficiency & product quality Minimum Qualifications : B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 7+ years of experience in hardware engineering and/or reliability Proven ability in development & validation of hardware and systems used for semiconductor reliability.
