Position: Technical Sales Engineer Job Description: This position sits within Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, and is responsible for building and maintaining influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and Arrow partners to create demand for Arrow products. The role combines demand creation, account management, and relationship development, with a strong focus on proactively offering engineering and supply chain solutions and matching Arrow’s solutions to customer business needs. WHAT WILL YOU DO: Build and maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and Arrow partners to create demand for Arrow products. Identify technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects and match Arrow’s solutions to customer business needs. Drive and create new opportunities and product selection within assigned accounts, using other technical resources as needed. Initiate and schedule regular visits to customer facilities, gain a solid understanding of customer needs, and translate those needs into Arrow requirements or business opportunities. Execute solution selling through a working knowledge of Arrow’s supply chain solutions and design processes, with emphasis on demand creation and engineering. Stay current on product knowledge and related technologies, attend supplier training events, and maintain supplier databases and design registration information accurately. WHO YOU ARE: Higher degree, ideally in Engineering, combined with a strong interest in technology and innovation. Around 5 years of experience in the electronics industry is preferred. Innovative and fresh approach to business development, with the ability to introduce changes and new solutions supported by business justification. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving, diplomacy, and influencing skills. Professional and proactive attitude. Goal-oriented mindset.
