Position: Information Technology Systems Engineer Job Description: What You’ll Be Doing ●Provide daily engineering support and operations for Arrow’s hardware and software infrastructure, including maintenance, performance monitoring and reporting, solution design, and consulting. ●Analyze and troubleshoot issues across software, applications, databases, hardware, and COTS applications. ●Deliver second-level support by working directly with IT teams and/or end users to resolve escalated incidents. ●Coordinate with vendors as needed to facilitate hardware and software repair activities. ●Participate in annual disaster recovery (DR) testing. Due to operational requirements, the role requires commuting between two office locations: Zhonghe and Taoyuan. ● Understanding of virtual machines (VMs), storage, and data center-related equipment. ●Software scope: Support Microsoft 365, Intune, and ServiceNow. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
