Position: Senior DevOps Engineer Job Description: SiliconExpert Technologies, Inc. is looking for Senior DevOps Engineers with strong development background, who will be responsible for enabling faster release and deployment cycles, by taking advantage of agile development methodologies, improved collaboration between business stakeholders, application development and operations teams and automation tools, they will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems, automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and alerting, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our Dev/QA/Prod. environments. Job Overview: Primary focus for the role developing and building containerization solutions, Senior DevOps Engineer installs and configures solutions, implement reusable components, translate technical requirements, and assist with all stages of test data and monitoring the container orchestration layer . Senior DevOps Engineer will build automated deployments, through the use of configuration management technology, helps create requirements and procedures for implementing routine maintenance, deploy new modules and upgrades and complete fixes within the production environment and troubleshooting existing information systems for errors and resolving those errors. Senior DevOps Engineer will build and implement infrastructure / application disaster recovery solution, through the use of infrastructure as code technology. Key Responsibilities: • Take the full responsibility to write dockerfile for all apps and Transform Spring boot Java application and Nodejs/Angular/ PHP to containerized images. • Using AWS Services to store and run the images with EKS orchestration layer . • Plan, design, sizing, Implement and operate the Kubernetes cluster using EKS infrastructures and other integrated AWS services. • Using ArgoCD and Helm for application deployments. • Automate the infrastructure provisioning & operations using Terraform. • Automate the Configuration management using ansible. • Plan and Implement DR Plan on AWS. • On call duties. • Troubleshooting existing information systems for errors and resolving those errors. • Work closely with development & QA teams to create processes and tools that provide immediate feedback on source changes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent education in the form of work experience at similar technology positions. A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Developer/Systems Administrator/DevOps, supporting development teams (sysadmins + Java/Angular software development). Experience in containers/container orchestration platforms; Docker, Kubernetes and AWS EKS. (Minimum of 2 years of work experience) Experience in ArgoCD, Helm and EKS cluster monitoring and Auto scaling. Experienced with Terraform as IaC knowledge, integrated with AWS different services (EC2, ECR, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, ELB). Experienced in AWS platform as DevOps (Deployment strategies, Disaster Recovery , IaC, Security and Automation). Strong Knowledge in AWS platform as Solutions Architect ( High availability , elasticity, Scalability, Migration and Cost Estimated / Optimization). Good Knowledge with Ansible for configuration management integrating with AWS different services to automate different tasks. Strong Knowledge of managing CI/CD tools preferably Jenkins. Good Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools ELK, Newrelic. knowledge of Build Tools (Maven, AngularJS) and Webservers Tomcat/Apache Certificates AWS DevOps Professional is advanced.
