Title: Sr Cybersecurity Engineer KBR is seeking a motivated and mission-focused Cybersecurity Engineer to join our cutting-edge team supporting the acquisition of advanced aeronautical systems and subsystems. In this role, you will be part of a fast-paced environment supporting KC-46 and Future Tanker programs within the Mobility Directorate. Work Environment: Location: On-Site Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% Working Hours: Standard Qualifications Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Experience: 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in DoD, aerospace, or similar environments Certifications: Must meet DoD 8570.01-M requirements for IAM Level II or IAT Level III, such as: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification) CCNP Security or higher Clearance: Top Secret Experience supporting SAP programs, Air Force acquisition, or Platform IT (PIT) systems Strong understanding of RMF, NIST 800-53, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-tempo environments Desired Qualifications: Experience with cybersecurity for aircraft weapons systems.
