Risk Enhanced Due Diligence We build Risk Enhanced Due Diligence products that help organizations make better decisions about customers, third parties, and business entities. Our platforms support risk investigation workflows where accuracy, reliability, speed, and trust matter every day. We are looking for a Senior Lead QA Engineer to join our Bangkok engineering team. In this role, you will help shape how we approach quality across the delivery lifecycle. You will work hands-on with automation, CI/CD, cloud-based testing, non-functional testing, and AI-assisted QA practices, while guiding teams toward better ways of building and releasing software. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys both engineering depth and quality leadership. You will write and review automation, improve test strategy, support engineers and QA team members, and help teams make clear, confident release decisions. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Quality starts early on our team. In this role, you’ll work with product, engineering, DevOps, and QA colleagues to build confidence into Risk EDD products from planning through production release. The work combines hands-on automation, risk-based thinking, cloud and CI/CD delivery, and coaching across teams. Shape the test strategy for Risk EDD products by understanding due diligence workflows, user journeys, technical designs, and delivery risks, then turning that insight into clear and practical test coverage. Bring quality into the delivery process early by helping teams clarify acceptance criteria, improve testability, identify gaps before development is complete, and reduce late-stage surprises. Build and improve automation for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end coverage using tools such as Playwright, Cucumber, Java, TypeScript, Rest Assured, Pactum, or similar technologies. Strengthen CI/CD test execution by improving pipeline integration, reducing flaky results, speeding up feedback, and making automated test outcomes easier for teams to trust. Support non-functional readiness across performance, load, scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery testing, especially for cloud-based services and distributed systems. Lead through collaboration by coaching QA colleagues, partnering with developers, working with DevOps on environments and test data, and using quality insights to explain release risk clearly. We are also exploring AI-assisted QA in areas such as test design, automation support, defect analysis, log review, documentation, and test data preparation. Essential Skills / Experience Required: We are looking for a QA engineer with strong automation depth, practical delivery judgment, and the ability to guide teams toward better quality decisions. 8+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or similar engineering roles Hands-on UI and API automation experience using Playwright, Cucumber, Java, TypeScript, Rest Assured, Pactum, or similar tools Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improving test reliability, maintainability, and release value Knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery, Shift-Left testing, risk-based testing, and test lifecycle management Experience with cloud-based application testing, preferably on AWS, plus performance, load, scalability, reliability, or disaster recovery testing Ability to assess quality risks, solve technical problems, coach QA colleagues, and communicate clearly in English Experience with AI-assisted QA practices such as test design, automation support, defect analysis, log review, test data preparation, or documentation would be useful. Desired Skills / Experience Required: Risk, compliance, KYC, AML, due diligence, financial services, or client onboarding domain knowledge JMeter, Jira, TestRail, GitLab, Postman, or similar engineering tools Microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, or containerized environments AI-assisted QA practices such as agentic testing, autonomous test generation, intelligent test execution, or self-healing automation. What We Are Looking For: We’re looking for a senior QA leader who combines hands-on automation skills with practical quality judgment. The right person can write and review automation code, ask thoughtful questions early, challenge assumptions respectfully, and help teams make clear release decisions from evidence. This role suits someone who enjoys coaching others, improving how teams prevent defects, and turning quality data into a clear story about risk, readiness, and next steps. Why Join Us: Risk EDD products support due diligence and risk intelligence workflows where accuracy, resilience, and trust matter. This is a chance to shape QA strategy, strengthen automation and CI/CD practices, and help local and global teams build more reliable software. Our team offers meaningful work, supportive collaboration, learning opportunities, and exposure to cloud platforms, automation frameworks, performance testing, and AI-assisted QA practices. New ideas are welcome here! Benefits are designed to support wellbeing, time away from work, and career development. Details may vary by location and will be shared during the hiring process. 144,883 engineer jobs are open right now

Here's how to pick the right one and stand out in your application.

144.883Jobs

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
