This is an outstanding opportunity to practice patient-centered palliative medicine within a nationally recognized, physician-led health system committed to improving the lives of patients and families facing serious illness. Job Duties: Position Highlights Established and collaborative palliative medicine team Opportunity to provide care across inpatient and outpatient settings Close partnership with oncology, hospital medicine, critical care, cardiology, neurology, and other specialty teams Interdisciplinary support including nursing, social work, care management, chaplaincy, and behavioral health Integrated Epic EMR across the health system Opportunity to participate in program development, education, and quality improvement initiatives Strong referral base within a large, integrated healthcare network Supportive administrative and physician leadership Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center Located in Wilkes-Barre, GWV is a premier tertiary care facility serving Northeastern Pennsylvania.
