Sr Workato Developer1 Required Skills & Experience 6–10+ years of integration and automation experience with strong hands-on Workato development. Expertise in Workato recipes, connectors, APIs, webhooks, and workflow orchestration. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth, and API security. Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and iPaaS architecture. Hands-on experience with cloud SaaS applications (Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow, Snowflake, etc.). Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing complex workflows. Design and develop scalable integrations and automation workflows using Workato recipes, connectors, and APIs. Build and deploy Workato Genies / AI-powered automations to enable intelligent business processes. Implement API-led and event-driven integration patterns across enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP, HRIS, and data platforms. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define automation strategies and reusable integration frameworks. Develop custom connectors, SDK-based integrations, and advanced data transformation logic. Ensure best practices around governance, error handling, monitoring, and performance optimization. Support migration initiatives from legacy middleware or other iPaaS platforms to Workato. Contribute to reusable accelerators and marketplace-ready assets. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise automation strategy and governance frameworks. Exposure to other iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Informatica. Knowledge of LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and AI workflow optimization. Experience working in Agile delivery models. Workato certifications or relevant automation certifications.
