Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Utility Technician based in Mobile, Alabama . You’ll be w orking as a team and independently in the Mobile Alabama shop to assist with inventory management, shop organization, safety compliance, and loading Aggreko equipment for delivery. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers’ worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades. What you'll do as a Utility Technician: Load and receive parts, Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, temperature control equipment, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) technology, Load Banks, and/or air compressor systems. Manage inventory, ensure readiness of equipment to be shipped, keep the shop organized and delivery trucks moving with a focus on safety. Manage receiving and shipping of Aggreko’s generator, heating and cooling equipment to make sure the equipment is tagged and all parts are received Wash down equipment, inspect and repair cable Assist in commissioning and decommissioning jobs Operate large and small forklifts to load and unload trucks Keep the warehouse clean, organized, stocked and meeting safety standards Maintain the shop and yard organization and inspect trailers for road readiness You are: Experienced working in an equipment yard or warehouse Possess basic computer knowledge Shipping, receiving, or inventory knowledge and forklift experience Experienced with common construction and industrial tools or mechanical background Must have High School Diploma/GED Here's what you'll get: Competitive pay and benefits package including annual bonus program, paid holidays, paid leave time, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance No premium cost medical plan option available Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available Safety-focused culture working on brand new technology Other essential job requirements Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat Our people are can-do, positive, resilient, and persistent.
