Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Air & Thermal System Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and integration of innovative air and thermal management solutions for Airbus aircraft. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of critical aircraft systems. The job holder will be an Air and Thermal System Engineer based in Airbus India office in Bengaluru and is responsible for development of Air System equipment/sub-systems. Job Responsibilities: * Perform detailed design and analysis of aircraft air conditioning, ventilation, and thermal management systems, including component selection and sizing. * Conduct simulations and analyses to predict system performance under various operating conditions. * Develop and review technical specifications, requirements documents, and test procedures for air and thermal systems. * Participate in system integration activities, including liaison with other engineering disciplines (e.g., structures, avionics, propulsion). * Support ground and flight testing campaigns, analyse test data, and troubleshoot system issues. * Identify and implement solutions for system improvements, cost reduction, and weight optimization. * Must be able to manage Supplier's * Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and internal company procedures. * Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. * Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with external suppliers. * Support R&T activities Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering * Proven experience in the design, analysis, and development of air conditioning, ventilation, or thermal management systems, preferably within the aerospace industry. * Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles. * Strong knowledge and experience in System Engineering * Experience in supplier steering/management (added advantage) * Knowledge of DO160 * Experience with aircraft certification processes and airworthiness requirements (e.g., EASA, FAA) is highly desirable. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of Data Analytics (added advantage) * Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
