Mobile Equipment Mechanic I

What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment to maximize operational uptime. Perform preventive maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment. Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety concerns. Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs effectively. Support safe, reliable plant operations through quality workmanship and teamwork. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated capability to diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment systems. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work effectively with minimal supervision. Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
