Position Summary Research Program Development Develop and conduct research projects, protocols, methodologies and standardized procedures supporting BRAVO research objectives. Design and implement innovative research methods and quality monitoring approaches for advanced therapeutics and organoid biomanufacturing. Analyze and interpret research data and prepare scientific reports, publications and presentations. Ensure the quality, integrity and reproducibility of research activities and outcomes. Research Coordination and Infrastructure Coordinate the implementation of BRAVO research infrastructure across participating institutions. Collaborate with investigators, partner institutions and technical personnel to support research infrastructure integration. Participate in equipment evaluation, procurement, qualification and implementation activities. Develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and monitor project milestones to support research objectives. Research Leadership and Knowledge Translation Provide functional supervision, guidance and training to Research Assistants, trainees and technical personnel. Develop standardized research procedures and promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Disseminate research findings through publications, presentations, reports and stakeholder engagement. Prepare grant applications, progress reports and other scientific documentation. Strategic Research Development Establish collaborative partnerships with academic, clinical, government and industry stakeholders. Participate in provincial and national research networks supporting advanced therapeutics and regenerative medicine. Contribute to the sustainability and continuous improvement of BRAVO research programs and infrastructure. Support strategic planning and identify future research and funding opportunities. Qualifications PhD in Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related field, with at least 5 years of related research experience . Experience in one or more of the following areas: advanced therapeutics, organoid technologies, biomanufacturing, or GLP/GMP-regulated research. Demonstrated experience developing research methods, analyzing scientific data, preparing publications, and contributing to grant applications. Strong scientific writing, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and research coordination skills. Excellent written and spoken English; French is an asset. Assets: Experience in translational research, technology transfer, or the biopharmaceutical sector. Experience supervising or training research personnel. Certification or training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or stem cell research (e.g., CASTL, CATTI, NIBRT, EATRIS, ASQ, GpX, Stem Cell Network, ISCT, or ISSCR).
