City of Hope’s growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas. The successful candidate: Schedule: Tues, Wed and Thurs 7:00am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm No Weekends or Job responsibilities The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs delegated clinical and administrative duties for an assigned patient population. This role supports patient care delivery by completing clinical tasks and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Manager. All duties are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. The CMA provides care to patients across all assigned populations and functions under the direct supervision of a Medical Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant for patient care activities. Administrative oversight, assignments, performance evaluations, and reporting responsibilities are directed by the Clinic Manager or Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant CPR Certified Previous office experience desirable City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
