RN Care Coordinator – Scoliosis/Spine Program

Location: Dodson Medical Office Building Department: Orthopedics Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Service Line Coordinator will coordinate scheduling of patients, physicians, staff, equipment and site/space for assigned specified patient population. Coordinate all necessary paperwork and orders in a timely fashion for in-patient admission, ancillary testing and clinic patients. Participate actively in all phases of the patients care. Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Three years of clinical experience preferred. Experience working with children/youth with complex medical conditions preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish a plus. Effective interpersonal communication. Adept at working in a dynamic team environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated initiative. Ability to plan and organize effectively. Experience with data base management. Understanding of scoliosis preferred. Certification/Licensure: Current license to practice nursing in the state of Texas. BLS required.
