Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) What's in it for you: The Engineering Technician supports engineering and operations teams by assisting with equipment, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and production execution, ensuring processes are efficient, reliable, and meet quality standards. What you will do: * Support engineers in implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment * Assist with troubleshooting equipment, tooling, and process issues on the production floor * Collect and analyze data to support process improvements and problem-solving efforts * Participate in root cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone, etc.) and corrective actions * Assist with development and updates of standard work, work instructions, and technical documentation * Support new product introductions, equipment installs, and process changes * Perform time studies and evaluate workflow efficiency * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards * Work cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams What you will bring: Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or technical environment preferred * Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications Preferred Skills * Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field * Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment or processes * Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools * Basic CAD knowledge (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis * Strong problem-solving and communication skills Work Environment * Combination of manufacturing floor and office environment * Requires working around machinery, equipment, and varying plant conditions * May require flexible hours based on production or project needs Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $28.00 Compensation Type: Hourly Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer : We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
