This Software Engineering position is located in our Agoura Hills, CA Tech Center. This role will work closely with our radar and perception algorithm teams to implement, test, and deploy radar signal processing and radar perception algorithms. The Agoura Hills team is part of the Advanced radar group within the Global Product Organization (GPO). YOUR ROLE Create, deploy, maintain and use software for in-vehicle data logging and visualization Support local and global algorithm teams in the deployment of algorithms for rapid prototyping in-vehicle systems Manage and develop DevOps tools for current and new projects Manage and organize data provided by internal teams and external customers Write scripts and tools for offline data analysis, algorithm validation, and regression testing Work with sensing and perception experts to design effective data visualization and issue mining techniques Maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop toolchains Become an owner of software libraries and tools used by global Aptiv teams Support internal and external customers, world-wide "Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer, now, or at any time in the future". Must Haves (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering 3+ years of hands on experience in: parallel processing and multi-threading understanding, modifying, and debugging large existing codebases proficient in Windows and Linux C++ 11/14 Developing DevOps tools Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications) Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills Experience with ROS Familiar with Python Knowledge of automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocols Experience profiling and optimizing code Experience with revision control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar) WHY JOIN US?
