Main Purpose of the Role This position will design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures in order to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality. Main Responsibilities Support product stewardship activities to ensure compliance with global environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Assist in evaluating products for compliance with regulations such as RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, PFAS, and other applicable standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to resolve compliance-related issues. Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, declarations, compliance certificates, and customer responses. Monitor changes in environmental and product compliance regulations and communicate impacts to the organization. Support sustainability initiatives, including material risk assessments and environmentally responsible product development. Participate in supplier engagement activities to obtain compliance information and improve data quality. Assist in customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal compliance reviews. Maintain accurate records and databases related to product compliance and stewardship programs. Analyze compliance data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and customers. Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to product stewardship processes and tools. Excellent verbal and communication skills at multiple level of organization. Able to articulate findings and analysis in technical reports Collect, review and maintain material composition and compliance data from suppliers and internal databases. QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Experience/Background 0-3 years relevant engineering experience Demonstrated experience with CAD systems. Basic understanding of mechanical reasoning, physics, electronics, metal working and plastics. Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail. Ability to travel approximately 5%, including internationally. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
