Job Responsibilities Execute assigned surveillance activities according to published productivity standards and deliver prompt, thorough, objective, and accurate analysis, and dispositions. Ensure overall data capture quality and timeliness, especially in description and classification of risks, supporting evidence, motivation determinations and matter lifecycle statuses. Manage production to service level agreements to ensure timely assessment execution and reporting of risks within the business area under surveillance. Maintain and apply a strong working knowledge of the consumer financial products and services sales environment including product design, scorecard and compensation, promotions, and campaigns. Proactively recognize these elements as behavior influencers in risk assessment activities. Make use of data and information from varying systems, repositories, and documents to develop a thorough understanding of the business area under Surveillance including analysis and identification trends, anomalies, outliers, red-flags and risks. Engage in the use of computer assisted assessment tools and techniques to drive high efficiency and effectiveness in surveillance processes. Participate in identification, escalation, investigation, and discussion of potential ethics issues, identify possible risk mitigation actions, and coordinate engagement with owners and stakeholders for substantiated matters. Develop and maintain effective relationships with oversight, business, and functional management to ensure a clear understanding of identified and substantiated risks, causes, potential solutions, and required actions. Influence management in the development of effective and sustainable corrective action and remediation plans as applicable and maintain oversight of corrective actions and remediation plan status to completion. Collaborate with and provide support to additional oversight programs and projects as required by business. Work issues/projects as assigned to support improvements. Ensure a culture of accountability, integrity, and respect Qualifications 8+ years of prior experience in control, compliance, risk or regulatory management in the banking or credit card industry. Thorough understanding of a sales environment including key behavior drivers and motivating factors. Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to produce high quality work under rigid time constraints. Excellent analytical and critical thinking ability and strong decision-making skills to assess and dimension inherent risk and materiality of issues identified and associated required corrective or remediation actions. Ability to work through ambiguity and piece together data points and information in a cohesive and logical manner to assist in reaching conclusions. Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to produce high quality work under rigid time constraints. Experience using Microsoft Office tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
