Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Primary job duties are Customer Engagement and Support Act as a main technical contact for field and customers on ECI applications. Work closely with field and customers to understand process challenges and provide optimized metrology solutions. Support tool NPI installation, qualification, and production ramp at customer sites. Deliver timely troubleshooting and resolution for application-related issues. Develop collateral material used to support field resolution of metrology issues Develop and deliver training programs Process and Technology Support Support advanced semiconductor applications in plating and WET cleans. Assist in developing new use cases and expanding ECI capability in emerging areas. Work with R&D and Engineering team on new product definition, risk assessment, package design, modeling and simulation to drive improvement Provide feedback on application gaps, customer needs, and competitive insights. Collaborate with field service engineers to ensure tool performance and uptime. Align with global application teams to leverage best practices. Oversee assigned project schedules with internal and external team, ensure on-time delivery Secondary duties are Application Development and Demo Perform typical and atypical lab and demo tests to understand customer concerns and determine possible root causes of process issues Ensure measurement accuracy, repeatability, and correlation to customer reference methods. Support both inline process control and offline characterization use cases. Communicate customer level reports identifying process issue, test procedure and results, and next steps Expected travel is 15% both domestically and internationally. Travel during training period will be increased. Qualifications Soft Skills Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and learn quickly. Strong communication skills both verbal and technical writing Ability to work alone and/or with limited supervision. Technical Skills Must Good working knowledge of testing techniques such as spectroscopy, titration, and HPLC. Understands engineering principles and techniques related to area project activities. Proficiency with personal computers and industry-standard software applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.). If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
