Job Description: Multi-Features Test (MFT) is a specialized quality engineering group dedicated to designing and validating generalized customer scenarios through rigorous testing of feature interactions and seamless integrations across multiple technology features in complex software products. The team focuses on architecting highly realistic end-to-end test scenarios and reference environments that replicate how diverse features & modules interact under deployment like environment, including various scales, configurations, and failure modes. MFT owns the comprehensive automation framework, reusable interaction test libraries, integration scenario templates, and automated validation pipelines required to efficiently uncover defects in cross-feature behaviors, compatibility issues, and unintended side effects before they impact customers. By continuously learning and gathering real-world usage patterns, observed interaction failures, and multi-feature dependencies from customer environments, the team enhanced this cross-feature test, and interaction to deliver high-quality integrated software experiences. What You'll Do: Responsibilities: Designing and architecting comprehensive multi-features test solutions that are deeply rooted in real customer use cases and actual deployment environments, with a strong emphasis on feature interactions, integrations, and cross-technology behaviors. Developing a robust, end-to-end test strategy and detailed test plan to ensure thorough validation of complex, interconnected software features. Creating realistic test topologies that mirror customer production setups for multi-service configurations and test. Performing manual exploratory testing, identifying and reporting software defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to drive timely resolution. Automating test cases using the PyTest framework to enable efficient, repeatable validation of feature interactions and integrations. Working closely with cross-functional teams (including product, development, architecture, DevOps, and support) to align testing efforts with customer needs, release goals, and quality standards What You Need To Bring: Automation Background and Python Proficiency: The candidate should have a strong background in automation. Proficiency in Python is essential for developing automation scripts and tools. Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise and hands-on test experience in the following technologies is required: Routing Protocols: MPLS (RSVP/LDP), SR-MPLS, SRv6 VPN Features: L2VPN, L2Circuit, VPLS, L3VPN, EVPN-MPLS and EVPN-VXLAN Multicasting: PIM, IGMP, MLD & Multicast VPN Security: MACSEC Firewall/ACL: In depth knowledge of Firewall Filter Ethernet OAM: LFM, CFM, Y.1731 Class of Service: CoS, hierarchical CoS Telemetry Features: Sflow, JFlow, OpenConfig, SNMP Automation Framework Skills: The candidate should be adept at using automation frameworks. Proficiency in creating new automation libraries and implementing complex automation algorithms is essential. Familiarity with PyTest, ROBOT is beneficial. Networking Test Equipment: Experience with networking test equipment is required. Proficiency in using tools like Spirent and Keysight Ixia traffic generator for testing, validation and automation is necessary. Analytical Skills and Debugging: Strong analytical skills are essential for debugging and isolating problems. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot and should narrow down issues efficiently. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders is important. Adaptability and Learning Aptitude: The candidate should be a self-starter and quick learner. Adaptability to new technologies & feature and able to integrate into solution is crucial. Team Player: A very strong team player who can contribute effectively to collaborative efforts. Minimum Qualifications: BE/Mtech/BS/MS/MCA in EE/CS or similar field is desired. 7-11 years’ of relevant experience. JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, or equivalent certification can be added advantage. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
